Which GLP-1 Is Best for Weight Loss?

When people talk about GLP-1 injections, they’re usually referring to either Semaglutide (Ozempic, Rybelsus, Wegovy) or Tirzepatide (Zepbound, Mounjaro). We offer both types of these weight loss shots. While Tirzepatide costs more than Semaglutide, it has been shown to be more effective for weight loss, A1C levels, and lowering cholesterol levels. Some report less likelihood of side effects. Tirzepatide might also be a good option for those who have plateaued with Semaglutide.

How Fast Do You Lose Weight On GLP-1?

Assuming you follow the program established with your nurses, you may see results within 4-6 weeks after your first GLP-1 injection.

What Are the Side Effects of GLP-1 Injections?

GLP-1 injections are typically well tolerated, but some people may experience nausea, vomiting, constipation, fatigue, or headaches. These are often temporary and may decrease as your body adjusts to treatments. It’s important to follow the dosing schedule provided by your nurse during consultation. To help combat potential side effects we can administer anti-nausea medicine and fluids to help with dehydration.
